Mike is a Chartered Engineer with over 30 years experience in the high security industry, including 18 years in the Military serving in many hostile environments around the world specialising in Force Protection Engineering and weapon effects on structures.
A member of the Register of Security Engineers and Specialists and a member of the Security Institute, Mike was previously the lead for threat and risk mitigation for a international engineering consultancy as well as the Engineering Director for Hesco Bastion Ltd. He was responsible for all the hostile vehicle barrier design and testing as well as the blast and ballistic design, assessment and testing for all the Hesco products. He has extensive experience in undertaking security risk assessments based on threat and vulnerability analysis in many market sectors including the military, humanitarian, critical national infrastructure and the oil and gas industry.
