DIRICKX Systems is proud to announce the official opening of its new production facility at Unit 3 Leeds Valley Park, Commerce Way, LS10 1AN.
Marking a significant milestone in the company’s expansion, the occasion was commemorated by a visit from Members of Parliament Hilary Benn and Alex Sobel, who toured the facility, met members of the team and learnt about the company's progress to date.
The new Leeds site has doubled production capacity, enabling the business to meet increasing global demand and enter the next stage of its growth journey.
With a unique combination of industrial and military engineering expertise, DIRICKX Systems draws on decades of hands-on experience deploying expeditionary barriers in hostile & high-risk environments. Its defensive barrier systems are now deployed around the world - including more than 100km of barriers delivered to Ukraine to protect vital energy infrastructure.
“It’s fantastic to see a Leeds-based business like DIRICKX Systems making a real impact internationally. Their work in Ukraine demonstrates the vital role UK manufacturing plays in global security and humanitarian support.
As the UK’s Trade Envoy to Ukraine, I’m proud to see this capability rooted in our region and supporting frontline protection where it’s needed most.”
“DIRICKX Systems is a great example of how local skills and experience can be retained and turned into a real success story for UK manufacturing.
I’m delighted to see that not only has the expertise remained here in Leeds, it’s now thriving in a new facility, creating jobs, supporting our defence capability, and exporting globally.”
