DIRICKX Systems signs Armed Forces Covenant, proudly supporting those who serve

We’re pleased to announce that DIRICKX Systems has signed the Armed Forces Covenant, a promise by the nation ensuring that those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, are treated fairly.

By signing the Covenant, DIRICKX Systems made the following pledge:

“We commit to uphold the Armed Forces Covenant and support the Armed Forces Community. We recognise the contribution that Service personnel, both regular and reservist, veterans and military families make to our organisation, our community and to the country.”

We’re also a trusted supplier to the UK Ministry of Defence via Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S), who demonstrated their confidence in DIRICKX Systems earlier this year when they procured significant quantities of our defensive barrier systems to support partner forces in Ukraine. We look forward to continuing this relationship in 2024 and beyond.

As new signatories to the Armed Forces Covenant, the DIRICKX Systems team is excited to be collaborating on our first initiative - the Cadet Careers Fair - which takes place on Saturday 10th February 2024, at Askham Bryan College in York. Coinciding with National Apprenticeship Week, the event will bring together members of the Sea Cadets, Army Cadet Force and Air Training Corps from throughout Yorkshire, the Humber and North East Lincolnshire to discuss work experience, career opportunities and apprenticeships with prospective employers.

Cadets will be invited to take part in an interactive programme of workshops covering a range of useful topics, from CV writing to interview skills, sector career opportunities and more. They’ll also have access to a practical space where they will be given the opportunity to engage more actively with prospective employers.

We’re pleased to be able to support this important event, and to play a part in helping young cadets from all walks of life to learn, develop important life skills, and enhance their employment prospects.
