The 11th annual CEL exhibition in Warsaw, Poland, provides a platform for stakeholders across the military engineering and logistics community to network, address capability shortfalls, explore technological advancements, understand future trends, and receive operational feedback.
Discussions at CEL 2025 underscored the evolving nature of warfare, with an increased focus on countering drone threats and advanced munitions delivery methods.
Product development previews from DIRICKX Systems - including counter-drone technologies, trench systems, and coatings & fuel protection solutions - drew strong interest.
Drone protection systems, in particular, sparked engaging technical discussions, with attendees offering insights into how specifications could be adjusted to enhance protection against real-world combat threats. Always committed to innovation, the team got to work…
From discussion to design within just 48 hours, DIRICKX Systems’ engineering team transformed feedback into a working prototype.
By the time Mike Pickup, Engineering Design Director, delivered his highly regarded presentation on ‘Innovation in Force Protection Engineering’ on the morning of the 27th, a functional prototype was complete, accompanied by a live demonstration video showcasing the solution in action.
Full product testing is scheduled for this summer - watch this space for future updates.
Following contract awards with the UK MoD and NATO in summer 2024, DIRICKX Systems’ credibility and visibility as a reliable supply and technical support partner have significantly increased.
Over the three days, the DIRICKX Systems stand exhibiting EB-Units and overhead protection systems attracted significant attention.
The team welcomed visits from military organisations from across Eastern Europe, the Americas, and the UK, including a delegation from Ukraine’s SSTS Department and the UK Royal Engineers team - former colleagues of DIRICKX Systems’ Regional Sales Director, Ben Jenkins.
With over 150 years of combined industry experience, the DIRICKX Systems team specialises in developing practical solutions to real-world challenges faced by combat and logistics professionals worldwide.
The team looks forward to returning as an official event sponsor at CEL 2026 in Krakow - ready to showcase the next evolution in force protection engineering.
"The battlefield is evolving and so must force protection technology. Harnessing more than 150 years of accumulated industry knowledge, our team thrives on tackling complex challenges to address emerging threats.
CEL 2025 reinforced the importance of collaboration, and we’re proud to work alongside military engineers worldwide to deliver cutting-edge force protection solutions.”
