This week, the Operations team at DIRICKX Systems rolled up their sleeves and headed to Skelton Grange Environment Centre to contribute another day of hands on volunteering for the local community.
Skelton Grange Environment Centre is managed by The Conservation Volunteers (TCV), a charity providing opportunities for people to create, improve and care for nature in the green spaces around them. The centre is used by communities across Leeds for educational, health and wellbeing purposes, encouraging learning and connection inspired by the outdoors.
DIRICKX Systems is committed to giving back to its home city.
The day of volunteering marked the second year in a row that our team has supported this fantastic facility. The team focused on building new pathways, clearing overgrowth, cutting back trees and other landscaping tasks.
Thanks to the team for a hard days work in typical British weather, and to Skelton Grange Environment Centre for for the great work they do in connecting people, green spaces and local communities.
